Marina Bay Sands Singapore
When ranking the most spectacular buildings in Asia, one definitely ranks in the top 10 - the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Opened in 2010, the resort on Marina Bay in Singapore consists of a casino, a hotel, a conference and exhibition center, a shopping center, an art and science museum, two theater halls and various bars and restaurants.
Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy
For our stay in Singapore, we reserved a room at the Hotel Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy for three nights. After arriving at the airport, we went to the Ground Transportation counter on the arrivals level. Here we were given information about when and where the free hotel shuttle leaves. Unfortunately we missed the bus by 10 minutes and had to wait another 50 minutes.

The airlines in the Lufthansa Group currently fly 75 times a week from Leipzig/Halle Airport to destinations in Germany and Europe. So it goes without saying that there is also a Lufthansa Business Lounge at Leipzig/Halle Airport. I visited them on my way to Frankfurt and would like to introduce them briefly in a lounge review.

Aegean Business Lounge Thessaloniki (2016)
The Aegean Business Lounge Thessaloniki is located at the end of the departure gates of Thessaloniki Airport, after going through security. One of the biggest advantages is boarding directly from the lounge for every flight in the Schengen area. I think the design is extremely successful. The interior designer was inspired by a film set when selecting the furniture.

Langkawi: Mount Raya
Actually only because of an “Earthcache” type geocache we drove to the 890 m high Gunung Raya. Gunung Raya is the highest mountain on the Malaysian island of Langkawi. Even the 20-minute serpentine path up offered all sorts of attractions along the roadside: cows, monkeys, iguanas and the deep green jungle to the left and right. Really great!

Panorama Langkawi or Langkawi Sky Cab has been the tourist highlight of the island since it opened in 2002. A more than 2 km long cable car takes you up to the dizzy heights of Gunung Machinchang. The view from Machinchang Mountain is unique. When the weather is clear, you can see untouched nature for a few kilometers.

With the rental car on the way to Langkawi
Since we wanted to explore the island on our own, we absolutely needed a rental car in Langkawi. From our hotel, The Danna Langkawi, we were driven to the airport. In the arrivals hall, I immediately went in search of the big companies in the industry. But I could have saved myself the time - Avis, Budget, Hertz and Co. are not represented here.
