In October 2023, we had the opportunity to experience SWISS Premium Economy on a long-haul flight from Bangkok to Zurich in a Boeing 777-300ER. Premium Economy promises more comfort and service than regular Economy Class and is aimed at travellers who value a more pleasant travel experience on long-haul flights. In this trip report, we provide a detailed insight into the cabin, seat comfort, catering and in-flight entertainment system. We also examine whether SWISS Premium Economy lives up to its premium claim.
About a year ago, the new SWISS Senator Lounge Zurich opened in Terminal A. On our way back from our summer vacation in Dubai, we finally had the chance to visit the lounge in June 2019. Find out whether the 18-month construction period was worth it in our lounge review!
Another summer vacation is over. Since we couldn't decide on a destination this year, we let the availability of Miles & More award flights decide. So it was Dubai! For the return flight, we chose Swiss Business Class on an Airbus A330-300. Read on to find out what our first SWISS Business Class flight was like in our review.
For our return flight in SWISS Economy Class Airbus A340-300 from Singapore to Zurich, I only wrote a short trip report. Details about the aircraft cabin and the seats in SWISS Economy Class can be found in the trip report of the outbound flight.
The plan was for us to land in Zurich at 4.30 pm, coming from Berlin. Due to the strong hurricane Niklas, we arrived three hours later. From Gate A81 we walked to the SWISS Senator Lounge before boarding the SWISS Economy Class Airbus A340-300 to Singapore.
