SWISS Airbus A330-300 Economy Class, Geneva to New York
For professional reasons, we decided very late for the upcoming vacation. However, due to the travel period from the end of September to the beginning of October, the destination was determined quite quickly: the Indian summer on the east coast of the USA. At the beginning of August, we got a relatively cheap flight with SWISS from Tegel via Zurich and Geneva to New York. From New York, we will then go north to Ottawa by rental car via Boston, Acadia National Park, among others.

Turkish Airlines Comfort Class on Boeing 777-300ER to Los Angeles
The flight with Turkish Airlines Comfort Class in the Boeing 777-300ER was one of my first error fares. Thanks to this price error, I flew from Istanbul to Los Angeles in the comfortable Premium Economy of Turkish Airlines. SFO: Twin Peaks and Golden Gate Bridge
After arriving in San Francisco, we wanted to make the most of half the day. So we drove to the Twin Peaks with our super sleek rental car (a Chrysler with all the trimmings). Now we are already in SFO for the third time, so they were finally overdue. The two hills, 276 m (northern peak) and 277 m (southern summit), are the second highest natural elevations in San Francisco. The weather was so clear and the view was really wide. We had almost 30°C, in October, mind you, and the sun was shining, just perfect. The view over Downtown, Market Street and the Golden Gate Bridge was awesome!

Für den Nachmittag hatten wir einen Termin im Geocaching-Hauptquartier vereinbart. So fuhren wir in den Stadtteil Fremont, eine Art Künstlerviertel, und suchten den Ursprung von Geocaching auf.
