Orchard Road - Singapore
Orchard Road is a shopping street in Singapore with one mall after another. You can really get everything here: from Louis Vuitton and H&M to exotic items such as quality products from the Erzgebirge. It was really busy and the shops were well frequented.

Omakase Burger
Christian had read about a burger joint called Omakase Burger in a food blog. It is located on the bottom floor of Wisma Atria, among other places. The queue was relatively long, which showed that it is very popular. We ordered the classic omakase cheeseburger and were able to choose the degree of doneness of the meat, which was really something new. We had to wait a little while and then the delicious burger arrived! We would say it was worthy of Shake Shack. However, at SGD 15, it wasn't exactly cheap.

Chinatown - Singapore
The busy street full of small souvenir shops is a mecca for all shoppers. However, the range of products is actually the same everywhere. We found a nice fridge magnet for our collection.

At the beginning or end of the street, depending on which side you come from, is the beautifully decorated Sri Mariamman Hindu temple. Women and men alike must wear clothes that cover their knees and take off their shoes if they want to enter.
As we continued on our way, we passed Telok Ayer Green Park. Here we rested for a while and listened to the great Asian sounds of the Chinese temple next door. What a little oasis of calm in the middle of the urban jungle.
Lau Pa Sat - Festival Pavilion Singapore
This hub for all things food should be really good. There is everything the Asian palate desires in a large pavilion. Indian, Chinese, Thai, and so on and so forth ... you can simply try your way through. And if you want to try something really daring, go to Wendy's ;) The American fast food restaurant is also there. But you can also eat Italian and Turkish food here. The neighbouring street was even closed off for the evening so that even more tables and chairs could be set up. We had read that Satay No. 6 was supposed to be very tasty, but they were only just starting to fire up the grill. We were simply too early. So we took the underground to the Gardens by the Bay.
