After an eventful time in Toronto, we made our way to one of the greatest natural wonders of North America - Niagara Falls - in the early afternoon. Although the distance is only about 130 kilometers, it took us almost two hours to drive. The heavy Sunday traffic and the upcoming Victoria Day - a Canadian holiday - caused a lot of traffic on the roads.
Our day in Toronto started with bad weather, as the weather forecast had predicted. The view out of the window showed low-hanging clouds, rain and wind – not optimal conditions for exploring the city. We spontaneously changed our plans and decided to spend the day doing indoor activities.
Unsere Nacht war früh zu Ende, der Jetlag hatte uns doch etwas erwischt. Als Erstes wurde der Fernseher angemacht und geschaut was der Tag in Vancouver Wetter-technisch so bringen soll ... hmmm ... Regen. Ach, so schlimm wird es schon nicht werden. Schnell wurde eine Kleinigkeit gegessen und dann ging es in die Lobby, um Fahrräder auszuleihen und anschließend die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Vancouver bei Regen zu erkunden.
