In the entrance area, beyond the reception desk, are lockers and restrooms. To the right is the bistro area with tables and chairs. On the left, with large panoramic windows (though offering a limited view of the apron), is the relaxation area. Here you'll find reclining chairs and several islands with comfortable sofas. Further back in the lounge is another seating area with a long sofa and various chairs and tables. The lounge's initial impression was one of brightness thanks to the large windows; the furniture and furnishings have a modern feel.

The lounge has another floor, which was unfortunately closed during our Saturday visit. It's supposed to have two small self-service bars (drinks and fruit), more seating, a relaxation room, and a smoking room. The view of the apron is also said to be much better. The stairs to the upper floor are somewhat hidden and could be better signposted.
The lounge has several televisions showing German and international news channels. Complimentary newspapers and magazines are also available. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lounge.
What food and drinks are available in the Airport Lounge World Munich?
We visited the Airport Lounge World in the afternoon, where a substantial lunch buffet was available, offering a variety of hot and cold dishes. Options included pasta with basil pesto, spaetzle with mushrooms and pork, Tom Kha Gai soup, and veal sausages. Additionally, there was a selection of cold cuts, cheeses, a mixed salad with tuna and pretzels, as well as other baked goods. The buffet was rounded out with desserts such as lemon curd and muffins. Service was prompt, with constant replenishment, and everything was kept clean. Unfortunately, not all dishes were labeled.

The drinks buffet was located at the back of the lounge. It featured a fully automatic coffee machine and two refrigerators stocked with various beverages. These included cola, Sprite, and other soft drinks, water, various beers (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), red and white wine, sparkling wine, and a selection of spirits. Overall, a very good selection.
