For our trip to the United Arab Emirates, we chose a 5-star hotel on the Gulf of Oman. We were hoping for an Arabian dream at the Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, located in the far north and somewhat remote, but with plenty of charm. Before our departure to Dubai, we visited the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt. Alongside the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, this is the only Star Alliance Gold Lounge in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1B. You can find out more about the lounge at Frankfurt Airport in the review.

I've read a lot of good things about the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Frankfurt on various blogs. Some frequent flyers even say that it is one of the best Star Alliance Gold Lounges at Frankfurt Airport. We had time to visit the lounge before our flight to Dubai.
