Lufthansa Business Lounge Dubai

Lufthansa Business Lounge Dubai

The Lufthansa Group has been flying from the newly built Terminal 1D in Dubai since 2016. As part of the move, Lufthansa has opened a new Senator and Business Lounge. After our relaxing beach holiday in the United Arab Emirates, we visited the Lufthansa Business Lounge Dubai before our return flight. Find out whether it's worth a visit in our lounge review.

Where is the Lufthansa Business Lounge in Dubai?

The Lufthansa Business Class Lounge is located on the upper floor of Terminal 1D at Dubai International Airport. After passing the duty-free shops, we simply took the escalator or elevator up one floor. The way to the airline lounges was very well signposted. The Lufthansa Business Lounge shares an entrance with the Lufthansa Senator Lounge (our reviewAfter the entrance check, the Business Lounge was to the left and the Senator Lounge to the right.

What are the facilities like in the Lufthansa Business Lounge Dubai?

We were quite surprised by the size of the Lufthansa Business Lounge, as it was smaller than the adjacent Senator Lounge. Essentially, it was one room divided into two zones by various furnishings. Immediately to the right of the entrance was a seating area with the typical Lufthansa leather armchairs. The dining area was located on the left side of the lounge. Here, there were several tables with chairs, a high table with bar stools, and another bench. Showers and restrooms were also available, shared with guests of the Senator Lounge.

What food and drinks are available in the Lufthansa Business Lounge Dubai?

The food and beverage selection in the Business Lounge was naturally somewhat smaller than in the adjacent Senator Lounge. Nevertheless, the choice of main courses was quite extensive, including goulash soup, rice with vegetables, and Italian pasta. In addition, there were various breads and wraps, fresh vegetables, fruit, and a chicken Caesar salad available as appetizers.

The drinks buffet offered six different spirits, two red and two white wines, and a sparkling wine. Beer would have completed the selection of alcoholic beverages, but the refrigerator was broken during our visit. In addition, there were of course various soft drinks, water, and a fully automatic coffee machine.

Of course, the Lufthansa Business Lounge in Dubai can't be compared to those in Frankfurt or Munich. Nevertheless, the selection of food and drinks was more than sufficient for a light dinner. Only the small size of the lounge and the associated seating area was somewhat unsatisfactory.
