Singapore Airlines Business Class Boeing 737-800 NG to Singapore
The route from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore was the busiest international flight route in the world in 2018 with 30,187 flights per year, according to an analysis by travel information service OAG Aviation Worldwide. The coronavirus pandemic has certainly reduced this figure significantly. Nevertheless, there are still numerous daily connections between the two Southeast Asian metropolises. We opted for a morning flight with Singapore Airlines. I was very excited to see what the Singapore Airlines Business Class Boeing 737-800 NG had to offer in regional traffic.

Hilton Berlin
The Hilton Berlin is the largest five-star hotel in the capital and boasts a fascinating history. Shortly before reunification, the East German hotel chain Interhotel began construction, and it opened in November 1990 as the Domhotel. Hilton acquired the hotel just one year later. We were curious to see what luxury awaited us at the Hilton Berlin.

Lufthansa Senator Lounge Berlin
Due to the reopening of Berlin Airport during the coronavirus pandemic and the associated travel restrictions, Lufthansa initially only opened a smaller lounge for all passengers with different frequent flyer statuses. With increasing travel volumes in early 2023, Lufthansa decided to expand its lounge offerings to include a Senator Lounge in the originally planned space. The Lounge Leipzig/Halle
At the end of 2023, the time had finally come: The Lounge Leipzig/Halle opened at my home airport, Leipzig/Halle. During the coronavirus pandemic, the Lufthansa lounges in Leipzig and at many other smaller airports in Germany were completely shut down. And even when travel activity picked up again in 2022, the lounges remained closed. So it was welcome news to discover this new lounge and see what it had to offer before my flight from Leipzig to Frankfurt.

Our visit to Niagara Falls: A unique natural experience
After an eventful time in Toronto, we set off in the early afternoon for one of North America's greatest natural wonders – Niagara Falls. Although the distance is only about 130 kilometers, the drive took us almost two hours.
