Kuala Lumpur - Trip to the Petronas Towers

Langkawi has several beaches, mainly located in the south, west, and north of the island. Although many hotels are located right up to the beach, by law, every beach is public. In the following article, we'll show you the most beautiful beaches on Langkawi.
We actually only drove up the 890-meter-high Gunung Raya because of an "Earthcache" geocache. Gunung Raya is the highest mountain on the Malaysian island of Langkawi. Even the 20-minute winding road up offered all sorts of attractions along the roadside: cows, monkeys, iguanas, and the deep green jungle to the left and right. Truly amazing!
Panorama Langkawi, or Langkawi Sky Cab, has been the island's tourist highlight since its opening in 2002. A 2-kilometer-long cable car takes you to lofty heights on Mount Machinchang. The view from Machinchang Mountain is unique. On a clear day, you can see several kilometers of untouched nature.
Since we wanted to explore the island on our own, we absolutely needed a rental car in Langkawi. We were driven from our hotel, The Danna Langkawi, to the airport. In the arrivals hall, I immediately started looking for the major companies in the industry. But I could have saved myself the time – Avis, Budget, Hertz, and the like aren't represented here.
Before our time in the jungle was up, the Mulu Canopy Skywalk was still on our agenda. This 480-meter-long and 15- to 25-meter-high path leads over suspension bridges through the rainforest treetops.
