The blog focuses on diverse travel experiences for discerning couples, trip reports from the world of aviation, reviews of exciting and luxurious hotel concepts, romantic city trips, and tips for culinary highlights.

Hello, I'm Christian and grew up in the charming town of Merseburg. While studying in Erfurt, I met my husband, Christian, and we moved to Halle together. We now live in my original hometown with our small family. My career as an architect has always interested me in places with exciting history and magnificent architecture. Even during my studies, I was often on the road, but my great passion for travel first spilled over to me from my husband. My motto: "The journey is the destination!" For us, a relaxing vacation begins at the airport... in the lounge. :-)

My name is Christian and I was born in the green heart of Germany and studied computer engineering in Ilmenau, Thuringia. Since 2021, I've been living in Merseburg with my wife Christin and our son and working as a product manager in Leipzig. What I love about travelling is flying, discovering good food and drink and staying in great hotels. I love travelling and am always on the lookout for the next adventure. I have been reporting on my experiences while travelling since 2007.
