Where is the SAS Gold Lounge in Oslo?
The SAS Lounges are located on the way to the E-Gates. During our stay in January 2017, Oslo Airport was undergoing extensive renovations, so we had to navigate our way through construction fences covered with landscape motifs. Afterwards, either an elevator or stairs lead to the 3rd floor, where the lounge entrances are located.

We passed through automated access control to enter the SAS Business Lounge and then through another checkpoint to reach the SAS Gold Lounge. A frequent flyer card and boarding pass were required for entry. Since I was traveling with my wife, after my Star Alliance Gold frequent flyer card and boarding pass were accepted, I then had to scan her ticket to open the door.

Who has access to the SAS Gold Lounge Oslo?
Complimentary access to the SAS Lounge is granted to SAS Plus and SAS Business Class passengers. EuroBonus Diamond and Star Alliance Gold members are also eligible for access.
What are the amenities of the SAS Gold Lounge Oslo?
Following the style of SAS lounges worldwide, the Scandinavian design was also present here. The SAS Gold Lounge Oslo had several seating areas of varying sizes, separated by different types of partitions. There was also a diverse mix of armchairs, primarily upholstered in blue, gray, or black fabric. Three additional reclining chairs were available at the rear of the lounge.

In the entrance area, which also served as the dining area, there was a large round table and a seating area with several small tables, each with at least two chairs. There were also two longer counters, one at the front and one at the back of the lounge. Each seat in the lounge had its own power outlet. Naturally, there were also power outlets distributed throughout the seating areas, but these were limited.

In the rear of the lounge were two separate offices, a printer, and a copier. We especially liked the three small booths with armchairs and glass doors. This meant that loud phone calls wouldn't disturb us in the lounge, and business secrets could be discussed discreetly.

What food and drinks are available in the SAS Gold Lounge Oslo?
During our stay, a cold lunch buffet was offered. It consisted of salads, plenty of vegetables and fruit, fish, a large selection of bread, cheese, crackers, and also chips. The only hot option was goulash soup.

The drinks selection can be summarized quickly: beer, wine (rosé, white), sparkling wine, a manageable selection of spirits, a vending machine for cola or water, and a fully automatic coffee machine. I had a non-alcoholic Munkholm beer from Oslo and found it quite good.
