In October 2023, we had the opportunity to experience SWISS Premium Economy on a long-haul flight from Bangkok to Zurich in a Boeing 777-300ER. Premium Economy promises more comfort and service than regular Economy Class and is aimed at travellers who value a more pleasant travel experience on long-haul flights. In this Trip Report, we provide a detailed insight into the cabin, seating comfort, catering and the in-flight entertainment system. In doing so, we examine the question of whether SWISS Premium Economy lives up to its premium claim.

The coronavirus pandemic has certainly reduced this figure significantly. Nevertheless, there are still numerous daily connections between the two Southeast Asian metropolises. We opted for a morning flight with Singapore Airlines. I was very excited to see what the Singapore Airlines Business Class Boeing 737-800 NG had to offer in regional traffic.

Aegean Airlines is still one of my favourite airlines for travelling within Europe. The crew members are always friendly and welcoming and pride themselves on providing genuine Greek hospitality. To renew my frequent flyer status, I have to take four flights with the airline every year. I normally use my Business Class upgrade vouchers for these flights. However, as we were travelling to Cyprus as a family today, we took our seats in Aegean Airlines Economy Class and were curious to see if the service behind the curtain was just as good.
