Lufthansa Business Class in the Airbus A319 to Leipzig
Lufthansa Premium Economy in the Airbus A330-300 to Dubai
SAS Goes on the Airbus A340-300 to San Francisco
Last August, Robert from robisintheair.de asked me if I would like to fly with him in SAS Go in the Airbus A340-300 to San Francisco. At a price of just under EUR 200, I didn't have to think long and said yes. You can find out which service is offered on the 11-hour flight in SAS Economy Class in the following trip report.

Hotel reviews
DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto
We chose the northern Italian city of Turin as our destination for a weekend together. With the DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto, we decided on a hotel fairly quickly. This is only 10 minutes by car from the city center and was therefore perfect for our city trip. We were also interested in the hotel as it was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano in the former Fiat factory.
Conrad Dubai
We spent our summer vacation 2019 in the United Arab Emirates. For our time in Dubai we chose the Conrad Dubai. In the low season we were able to book this luxury hotel very cheaply. You can find out in our hotel rating whether the price is also reflected in the quality and service.
Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah
The name, a statement. The brand, pure luxury. The Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah. In June we spent five nights in this five star hotel in the Arabian Gulf. In the summer months, when it's really hot in the United Arab Emirates, you can't beat the value for money. So why travel to overcrowded and poorly run hotels in the Mediterranean when I can be treated like royalty here for the same price? You can find out whether the luxury is right in our hotel rating.
Hilton Budapest City
The Hilton Budapest City is one of two Hilton hotels in the capital of Hungary. We chose this Hilton on the Pest side of the Danube for our weekend trip to Budapest, partly because of the easy access to the airport. You can find out whether this was a good decision in our hotel rating.
TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess
After a strenuous summer at work, we really wanted to relax and fly in the sun in September. But not so far this time. Therefore we decided on Greece, more precisely on Thessaloniki. We chose the 5-star all-inclusive TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess. For us it was the first time for a holiday just beach, pool, food and drink. You can find out how we liked it and whether we would do it again here in the hotel rating.

Aegean Business Lounge Athens in the non-Schengen area (Terminal A)
The new Aegean Business Lounge in Terminal A, the non-Schengen area of Athens Airport, was recently opened in April 2022. On my way to Sofia, I used the transfer time to check out the new Aegean Airlines flagship lounge at Athens airport.
Hugo Junkers lounge Dusseldorf
The Hugo Junkers Lounge Düsseldorf is the only lounge in Terminal B at Düsseldorf Airport. Since my flight to Athens with Aegean Airlines was also scheduled to depart from this terminal, I decided to visit the Hugo Junkers Lounge. You can find out whether my decision was right in the Lounge Review.
Star Alliance Business Lounge Los Angeles
My last trip before the outbreak of the corona pandemic took me to Los Angeles in December 2019. Before my return flight to Stockholm with SAS, I still had some time to spend in the Star Alliance Business Lounge in Los Angeles. I was really looking forward to it as this airport lounge is considered one of the best Star Alliance Gold lounges in the US.
Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt A26
The Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt A26 is one of a total of three Business Class Lounges in Terminal 1A at Frankfurt Airport. As my flight to Malta was scheduled to depart from Gate A26, I paid a quick visit to the lounge.
Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich G24
I have often used the Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich Gate G24 when changing planes. However, there were always too many passengers on site for photos. Luckily I was able to take the chance on our way back from Italy on Sunday evening and catch up on this long overdue review.

Planespotting at Boeing Plant / Paine Field Airport
Boeing's largest and most important production facility is located about 50 kilometers north of Seattle. The Boeing 747, 767, 777 and 787 wide-bodied aircraft are manufactured in the second largest building in the world right next to Paine Field Airport (Snohomish Country Airport). As with every visit to Seattle, this time we were at the Boeing plant for plane spotting.
Short break in Vienna with a small child
Vacationing with a small child is exciting and flying for the first time is an adventure. In the past, people went through security quickly or quickly from the arrival gate to the baggage carousel. With a child you need peace and time - throughout your entire vacation. You can find out what our experiences were on the flight, in the hotel and while sightseeing in Vienna with a small child in this article.
Experience Seattle with the Seattle CityPASS
What to see in Seattle Thanks to the Seattle CityPASS, you can visit five of Seattle's most beautiful attractions and save even more on admission. When you buy the pass, you will receive a small booklet containing the tickets for the sights. So all you have to do on site is show your ticket booklet. Holidays with a small child in Davos – Swiss Alps in summer
The Swiss Alps have so much to offer and not just in winter. We ventured to Davos in August and wanted to know what you can do with a small child in the summer. You can read what we experienced in Davos and its surroundings in this article.
Singapore Airlines Training Center - A look behind the scenes
An aircraft must be evacuated within 90 seconds. In order to react correctly and quickly in an emergency, the airlines regularly train their staff. But not only the evacuation via the emergency slide of an Airbus A380 is part of the training plan, the make-up and the service also want to be perfected. I was able to take a look behind the scenes at the Singapore Airlines Training Center.
