Before flying to San Francisco via Copenhagen early in the morning, I visited the SAS Gold Lounge Stockholm. It's somewhat hidden on the fourth floor of Terminal 5. You can learn more about the amenities and the food and beverage offerings in the lounge review.
Where is the SAS Gold Lounge Stockholm?
The SAS Gold Lounge is somewhat hidden in Terminal 5 at Stockholm Airport. Only a small sign on the ceiling, opposite the SAS service counter, indicates the lounge's location. Both the Gold Lounge and the regular lounge for Business Class guests are located on the fourth floor of the airport. To get there, passengers must take either the stairs or the elevator.

Who has access to the SAS Gold Lounge Stockholm?
Access to the SAS Gold Lounge is only available to Star Alliance Gold status holders, whether with SAS Eurobonus or other Star Alliance airlines. You must also present a ticket for a flight with SAS or a Star Alliance partner on the same day. The same rules apply to guests, who can be invited into the lounge free of charge.
What is the SAS Gold Lounge Stockholm equipped with?
At first glance, the lounge made a good, bright impression. Spanning the entire fourth floor, it features large windows on two sides, offering views of the runway.

The lounge also offers a relatively wide range of seating options. During our early departure on Saturday morning, the lounge was still pleasantly empty, so I was able to take a few pictures.

In addition to the high round or square tables in the dining area, there are also smaller tables for working. There's also a computer corner with a printer and several phone booths. Wi-Fi is unlimited and free of charge. A major drawback of the SAS Gold Lounge, however, is that there are only three restrooms per gender and only one shower stall. Long lines can therefore occur here.

What is available to eat and drink in the SAS Gold Lounge Stockholm?
During our stay, only breakfast was served. The buffet offered a choice of cold cuts, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt with blackberries and cornflakes, toast, and other breads.

At this time of day, we left the fridge with beer locked and opted for the fully automatic coffee machine. Ice-cold orange juice, soft drinks, and water rounded out the offerings.
