Aeroflot Economy Class Airbus A330-200 to Hanoi

Our departure gate to Hanoi

In this trip report, I'll provide a detailed look at the cabin and seating configuration aboard Aeroflot's Economy Class Airbus A330-200. Look forward to a comprehensive review of my flight to Hanoi, including how the food tasted, which movies and series were available, and whether Aeroflot met my expectations.

Our flight, SU 541, was dispatched at Gate 25 in Terminal D. While walking through the waiting area, I frequently heard conversations in German. I'd say that approximately 601,000 of the passengers were from Germany. Around 7:30 p.m., we boarded the A330-200 (registration VQ-BBE) with the initials "Iosif Brodsky."

What is the cabin and seat like in Aeroflot Economy Class Airbus A330-200?

The Aeroflot Economy Class cabin on the Airbus A330-200 is characterized by a warm and inviting atmosphere, dominated by orange and red. The seats are arranged in a comfortable 2-4-2 configuration, offering benefits for both couples and single travelers. With a seat pitch of 31 to 32 inches and a width of approximately 18 inches, the seats offer ample space for long-haul flights.

What is available to eat and drink in Aeroflot Economy Class Airbus A330-200?

Shortly after takeoff, the menu was distributed. There were two meals during the nine-hour flight to Hanoi. Dinner was served approximately two hours after takeoff. The starter was smoked salmon and marinated shrimp with fresh cucumber and lemon on iceberg lettuce. For the main course, we had a choice between fish and chicken. We chose chicken in curry sauce with strips of green and red bell peppers, broccoli, and rice. For dessert, there was a slice of apricot tart.

Two hours before landing, somewhere over India, breakfast was served. The starter consisted of smoked turkey and curry chicken, cheddar cheese, fresh carrot and iceberg lettuce. The main course consisted of crepes with peach cream and vanilla sauce. Dessert consisted of two Russian chocolate bars with nougat filling.

What is the in-flight entertainment like in Aeroflot Economy Class Airbus A330-200?

We had seats in row 12 (H & K) again. Unlike our Aeroflot flight this morning, the seats were all orange/red. Additionally, a Panasonic personal entertainment system was installed for each passenger. So, the first thing I watched was "Mr. Popper's Penguins." A mediocre film! The films were only available in English or Russian. But that was okay. In addition to the films, there were also small games that you could play with the hand controller. There was also a USB port, perfect for charging your iPhone.

After 4,775 miles, we arrived in Hanoi at 7:45 a.m. (local time) after an 8:30-hour flight. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food and service. It's a shame Aeroflot isn't one of my preferred alliances, because the value for money was good.
