In this Trip Report, I will give a detailed insight into the cabin and seat configuration on board the Aeroflot Economy Class Airbus A330-200. Look forward to a comprehensive review of my flight to Hanoi, including how the food tasted, what movies and series were available to choose from, and whether Aeroflot lived up to my expectations.
Our flight SU 541 was handled at Gate 25 in Terminal D. While walking through the waiting area, I often heard conversations in German. I would like to say that about 60% of the passengers came from Germany. Around 7:30 p.m. we boarded the A330-200 (registration VQ-BBE) with the baptismal name "Iosif Brodsky".

The Aeroflot Economy Class cabin on the Airbus A330-200 is characterized by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, characterized by orange and red colors. The seats are arranged in a comfortable 2-4-2 configuration, which offers benefits to both couples and single travelers. With a seat pitch of 31 to 32 inches and a width of around 18 inches, the seats offer enough space for long-haul flights.

Shortly after the start, the menu was distributed. During the 9-hour flight to Hanoi, there were two meals. Dinner was served about two hours after the start. As a starter, there was smoked salmon and marinated prawns with fresh cucumber and lemon on iceberg lettuce. For the main course, we had the choice between fish and chicken. We opted for chicken in curry sauce with green and red pepper strips, broccoli and rice. For dessert there was a piece of apricot cake.
Two hours before landing, somewhere over India, breakfast was served. As starters, there was smoked turkey and curry chicken, cheddar cheese, fresh carrot and iceberg lettuce. The main course consisted of crêpes with peach cream and vanilla sauce. The dessert consisted of two Russian chocolate bars with nougat filling.
What is the in-flight entertainment like in Aeroflot Economy Class Airbus A330-200?
Wir hatten wieder Plätze in Reihe 12 (H & K). Im Gegensatz zu unserem Aeroflot-Flug heute Morgen waren die Sitze alle orange/rot. Außerdem war für jeden Passagier ein Personal Entertainment System von Panasonic installiert. So schaute ich mir als erstes “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” an. Mittelmäßiger Film! Die Filme gab es nur auf Englisch oder Russisch. Aber das war okay. Neben den Filmen gab es auch kleine Spiele, die man mit dem Handcontroller bedienen konnte. Außerdem gab es einen USB-Anschluss, perfekt zum Aufladen des iPhones.
After 4775 miles we arrived in Hanoi at 7.45 a.m. (local time) after an 8.30 hour flight. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food and service. It's a pity that Aeroflot is not one of my preferred alliances, because the value for money was good.
