Even before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar Airways was a popular and well-known airline that is appreciated for its excellent service and comfort. We were therefore curious to see how the Qatar Airways Economy Class fared on our flight from Munich to Doha, with an onward flight to the Maldives. I have often used the Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich Gate G24 when changing trains. However, there were always too many passengers on site for photos. Fortunately I was able to take the chance on our way back from Italy on Sunday evening and now made up for this long overdue review.

Thanks to an error fare, we flew Air Canada Business Class on an Airbus A330-300 from Munich to Toronto. Despite complications during boarding and an outdated Business Class seat, Air Canada still managed to impress us with its service and the quality of the food. Transavia Economy Class on the Boeing 737-800 to Berlin

If you want to fly within Germany from Munich to Berlin, you used to fly with Air Berlin or Lufthansa. Since 30 May, the Dutch airline Transavia has joined the group. Unlike Lufthansa and Air Berlin, Transavia flies to Schoenefeld Airport twice a day. So I took the plunge and flew with Transavia Economy Class in the Boeing 737-800 to Berlin.

Planespotting am Flughafen München

Der Flughafen München ist der zweitgrößte Flughafen Deutschlands. Er verfügt über zwei parallele Start- und Landebahnen (Süd 26L/08R und Nord 26R/08L), die je nach Windrichtung für Starts und Landungen genutzt werden. Aufgrund des relativ großen Abstands zwischen den beiden Bahnen ist ein Positionswechsel beim Planespotting oft schwierig. In der Regel werden Flugzeuge, die nach Süden oder Osten fliegen, auf der Südbahn abgefertigt.
