Some may think I'm crazy to spend an afternoon during vacation in Greece with four flights. Sure, for the majority there is no point in flying to the island of Chios for just 25 minutes. However, I need this Mileage Run with Aegean Airlines to extend my Star Alliance Gold frequent flyer status for another year.
In a few years, the Fokker 100 will be history at Austrian Airlines. It is gradually being replaced by the Embraer 195. All the more I am looking forward to my flight in Austrian Airlines Economy Class in the Fokker 100 from Vienna to Warsaw to experience this once again
Aesthetically, I think the McDonell Douglas MD-82 is a beautiful aircraft. Unfortunately, it is no longer up to date and will probably disappear from the scene soon. American Airlines alone is reducing its fleet by one aircraft per week and replacing it with either Boeing or Airbus.
