The Boeing 737-800 is one of the world's most widely flown narrow-body jets – a workhorse on short- and medium-haul routes that can offer very different travel experiences depending on the airline and configuration. This page compiles all of miles-around's Boeing 737-800 trip reports – in Business Class and Economy Class with various airlines.

The reports feature Singapore Airlines Business Class on the Boeing 737-800 NG on the regional route from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore – one of the shortest yet remarkably well-equipped Business Class products in Southeast Asia – as well as Malaysia Airlines Economy Class on the Boeing 737-800 from Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur and Transavia Economy Class on the Boeing 737-800 from Munich to Berlin Schönefeld, one of the first low-cost connections on this domestic German route. These reports are aimed at frequent flyers and travelers who want to know what to really expect on board a Boeing 737-800 with different airlines.

Singapore Airlines Business Class Boeing 737-800 NG to Singapore

The route from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore was the busiest international flight route in the world in 2018 with 30,187 flights per year, according to an analysis by travel information service OAG Aviation Worldwide. The coronavirus pandemic has certainly reduced this figure significantly. Nevertheless, there are still numerous daily connections between the two Southeast Asian metropolises. We opted for a morning flight with Singapore Airlines. I was very excited to see what the Singapore Airlines Business Class Boeing 737-800 NG had to offer in regional traffic.

Transavia Economy Class on the Boeing 737-800 to Berlin

If you want to fly within Germany from Munich to Berlin, you used to fly with Air Berlin or Lufthansa. Since 30 May, the Dutch airline Transavia has joined the group. Unlike Lufthansa and Air Berlin, Transavia flies to Schoenefeld Airport twice a day. So I took the plunge and flew with Transavia Economy Class in the Boeing 737-800 to Berlin.
