Contrary to the typical routes, our summer holiday this year did not take us to the south, but to the north of Europe. In July, we packed our suitcases and flew to Estonia. Family holiday on the sunny island of Usedom

The sunny island of Usedom lives up to its name. We drove toward the Baltic Sea in the worst of the rain, and as soon as we crossed the bridge to the island, we were greeted by a bright blue sky and the sun smiling down on us. Perfect! That's how it should be.

Munich Airport is Germany's second-largest airport. It has two parallel runways (South 26L/08R and North 26R/08L), which are used for takeoffs and landings depending on the wind direction. Due to the relatively large distance between the two runways, changing position during planespotting is often difficult. Typically, aircraft heading south or east are handled on the south runway.
