At the end of 2023, the time had finally come: The Lounge Leipzig/Halle opened at my home airport, Leipzig/Halle. During the coronavirus pandemic, the Lufthansa lounges in Leipzig and at many other smaller airports in Germany were completely shut down. And even when travel activity picked up again in 2022, the lounges remained closed.
