In July 2016, I was very lucky to be part of the first flight of Singapore Airlines' Airbus A350-900 from Düsseldorf. I have already written you a detailed article about this. An aircraft must be evacuated within 90 seconds. In order to react correctly and quickly in an emergency, the airlines regularly train their staff. But not only the evacuation via the emergency slide of an Airbus A380 is part of the training plan, the make-up and the service also want to be perfected. I was able to take a look behind the scenes at the Singapore Airlines Training Center.

First flight: Singapore Airlines Business Class Airbus A350-900 to Singapore

On July 22, 2016 at 6:10 a.m., the Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 landed in the North Rhine-Westphalia state capital for the first time and was traditionally greeted with a water fountain. From now on, the renowned five-star airline will connect Düsseldorf Airport non-stop three times a week with its hub in Singapore. I was very lucky to be on the inaugural Singapore Airlines Business Class flight on the Airbus A350-900 from Düsseldorf.

Preparation for the first flight with the Airbus A350 to Singapore

From July 21, 2016, Düsseldorf will be served as the third German city in Singapore Airlines' route network. The non-stop flights to and from Singapore will be operated with the new Airbus A350-900. We will be there for the maiden flight Dusseldorf - Singapore of the latest addition to the Singapore Airlines fleet.
