Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge Bangkok

The density of lounges at Bangkok Airport is astonishingly high. Before taking off for Zurich with SWISS, we visited the Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge Bangkok. I had read a lot about the lounge and was curious to see whether champagne was actually served in the Priority Pass Lounge.

What are the features of the Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge in Bangkok?

The Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge Bangkok is one of the relatively small lounges at Bangkok Airport. It essentially consists of two rooms after the reception desk. The right-hand room is brightly lit and furnished with sofas, chairs, and tables. However, this was very crowded during our stay, so we immediately moved to the left-hand room. This is slightly darker and decorated with blue lighting. In addition to sofas and armchairs with small coffee tables, this room also housed the buffet. Alternatively, there was a high table at the rear of the lounge, which was already occupied by iMacs and a decorative fruit bowl. The interior design in beige and cream tones gives the lounge a somewhat old-fashioned ambiance. However, the furniture is in good condition and shows no signs of wear. The Oman Air Lounge also offers free Wi-Fi, showers, and relaxation rooms.

What is available to eat and drink in the Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge Bangkok?

In keeping with the size of the Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge in Bangkok, the food and beverage selection is good. The menu includes three hot dishes such as chicken teriyaki and pad Thai, as well as fresh cold dishes. During our stay, there was freshly sliced fruit, pastries and cakes, salads, sandwiches, and various canapés.

The drinks selection in the Oman Air Lounge at Bangkok Airport is truly impressive and leaves little to be desired. Of particular note is the well-stocked wine refrigerator, which includes the exquisite Champagne Lombard Extra Brut Premier Cru NV. But that's not all: The spirits selection is just as diverse and includes everything you need to prepare a wide variety of cocktails and more. Soft drinks and juices are available, as are canned beer from Heineken and Singha. Coffee lovers can look forward to Nespresso pods, while tea drinkers can choose from a selection of Dilmah and Lipton. In summary, the Oman Air Lounge arguably offers one of the best drink selections in the entire Bangkok Airport and is one of the best Priority Pass lounges we've visited so far.

We really liked the Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge in Bangkok. Due to its small size, the seating area is a bit small, and it can fill up quite quickly. The small coffee tables for eating and drinking are also a bit cramped. The food selection was reasonable, but sufficient for a small snack. The lounge definitely scored highly with its drink selection. And by that, I don't just mean the Champagne Lombard, but also the Perrier sparkling water.

I'm Christian, born in the green heart of Germany, and I studied computer engineering in Ilmenau. Today, I live in Merseburg with my wife Christin and our son, but I work in Leipzig as a product manager. For me, travel has always been more than just a change of scenery. I loved boarding a plane, discovering new cuisines, and feeling at home in special hotels. This mix of enjoyment, curiosity, and wanderlust is why I started writing about my experiences on this blog back in 2007. Whether a spontaneous weekend adventure or a grand journey across continents, I wanted to share my passion and show how many wonderful stories the world holds. And to this day, I'm always on the lookout for the next place that will surprise me.
