Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt

Before our departure to Dubai we visited the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt. Alongside the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, this is the only Star Alliance Gold Lounge in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1B. You can find out more about the lounge at Frankfurt Airport in the review.

Where is the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt?

The lounge is located in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1. Immediately after passport control, we turned left and walked towards Gates B41-48. The entrance to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge was on the left next to Gate B43. After we had passed the admission control, we took the elevator up one level and stood directly in front of the automatically opened entrance door.

Every passenger who has a Lufthansa Senator or comparable Star Alliance Gold frequent flyer status has access to the lounge. In addition, guests with a valid Star Alliance First Class ticket departing from Frankfurt have access to the lounge. Eligible passengers may also take one guest with them.

How is the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt equipped?

As soon as we arrived in the lounge, we noticed a light-letter construction. This separated the different seating areas. Along the window front in the rear part of the lounge were several seating groups, each with a small table and two sockets. Also a few relax lying were to be found here and offered a great view of the apron.

In addition to various tables, each with two or three chairs, there were three bar tables with the associated high chairs near the buffet.

The spa area at the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates in Frankfurt was particularly special. Here the paying passenger was offered a variety of treatments and massages. In addition to the price-intensive spa area, there were also several private shower rooms. There was also a darkened relaxation room at the back of the lounge.

What is there to eat and drink in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt?

A special highlight of the Lufthansa Senator Lounge Terminal 1 B was the bar. Various spirits and freshly prepared coffee specialties are offered here. There was also a small menu with alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. To get in the mood for our upcoming vacation, I had a delicious one from the bartender Mojito to mix.

Bar in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge Frankfurt

The actual buffet offered a selection of snacks, two warm dishes, cold and warm appetizers and desserts - not as extensive and of high quality as in the neighboring one Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge. The extensive range of drinks included soft drinks, German beer, wines, sparkling wine and a selection of liqueurs and spirits.

Summary

The Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates at Frankfurt Airport is pleasantly large and modern. A special highlight for me was the bar. However, the range of dishes did not completely convince me, so I would rather go to the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge to eat.
