CIP Lounge Istanbul

When we arrived in the CIP Lounge, we first tried to organize an appointment for a shower. Here we can recommend using the showers on the lower floor. These are newer and the wait was less. You have to register with the concierge and after being called you will be taken to the bathroom. The whole room is lined with white marble and is a good size.

After an extensive breakfast with croissants, fried eggs and delicious cakes or pastries, we lingered over a delicious Turkish coffee. We really liked the small honeycomb over the cold buffet. Here we could scratch out fresh honey.

Since it was a little quieter in the lounge today than on the outbound flight, we took the opportunity to play on the Carrera track. The cars are available from the concierge upon presentation of the flight ticket (as a deposit).

Flight Turkish Airlines TK1337 to Leipzig

Even the best time in the lounge comes to an end and we dragged ourselves round and round to the departure gate of our flight to Leipzig. We got there just in time for boarding to begin. When scanning our ticket, there was a short beep and our tickets were exchanged once again. Our lucky streak continued and we were upgraded on this short flight, this time to Business Class.

We were warmly welcomed on board the A320 and given a fresh lemonade as a welcome drink. The flight was very smooth and the menus were handed out shortly after take-off. We could choose from several starters and main courses. Everything was very tasty so far.
