Apr\u00e8s un copieux petit-d\u00e9jeuner am\u00e9ricain compos\u00e9 de beignets et de bagels, nous avons pris le m\u00e9tro depuis [lieu] vers 9h45. h\u00f4tel<\/a> Direction Lower Manhattan. Notre premi\u00e8re destination \u00e9tait la Statue de la Libert\u00e9 (sur Liberty Island) et Ellis Island. Gr\u00e2ce au New York Pass, nous avons pu \u00e9viter la file d'attente \u00e0 la billetterie, mais l'attente au contr\u00f4le de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour le ferry a dur\u00e9 une heure.<\/p>\n\n\n

Le ferry de State Cruises part de Battery Park, dans le sud de Manhattan. Des billets gratuits pour le pi\u00e9destal sont distribu\u00e9s en nombre limit\u00e9, selon le principe du premier arriv\u00e9, premier servi. L'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la couronne est limit\u00e9 \u00e0 240 personnes par jour. Un billet s\u00e9par\u00e9 est requis et peut \u00eatre r\u00e9serv\u00e9 en ligne jusqu'\u00e0 un an \u00e0 l'avance. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 obtenir de billet et n'avons pu visiter que Liberty Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir visit\u00e9 Liberty Island et sa vue imprenable sur le sud de Manhattan, nous avons repris le ferry pour Ellis Island, notre prochaine \u00e9tape. Longtemps, l'\u00eele a abrit\u00e9 le bureau de l'immigration de l'\u00c9tat et de la ville de New York et, pendant plus de 30 ans, le centre de traitement des demandes d'immigration aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Aujourd'hui, elle abrite un mus\u00e9e d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n
