Le lendemain matin, nous avons visit\u00e9 les grottes de Batu, \u00e0 environ 15 kilom\u00e8tres au nord de la capitale malaisienne. Le site est notamment remarquable par la statue dor\u00e9e de 42,7 m\u00e8tres de haut qui se dresse sur le parvis. La grotte et ses environs abritent plusieurs temples hindous. Pour y acc\u00e9der, il nous a fallu gravir un escalier de 270 marches.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dans la grotte \u00e0 l'entr\u00e9e la plus petite, des visites guid\u00e9es sont \u00e0 nouveau propos\u00e9es, similaires \u00e0 celles de Mulu. Il y a une visite d'exploration de 45 minutes et une randonn\u00e9e aventure de 3 heures. N'\u00e9tant pas au courant de ces visites, nous n'\u00e9tions pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9s et n'avons pas pu y participer. Ensuite, nous avons explor\u00e9 la grotte principale, haute de 100 m\u00e8tres. Cependant, son architecture m'a davantage fait penser \u00e0 une gare routi\u00e8re. Tout est pav\u00e9 de b\u00e9ton et certains temples sont illumin\u00e9s de guirlandes lumineuses color\u00e9es. Sur la place, nous avons achet\u00e9 un dessert sucr\u00e9 et collant \u00e0 l'un des stands de vendeurs indiens. Le vendeur n'a pas su nous expliquer exactement de quoi il s'agissait en anglais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les grottes de Batu sont facilement accessibles en train depuis KL Sentral. Le billet co\u00fbte seulement 1 ringgit et les trains circulent toutes les 20 \u00e0 30 minutes.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Am n\u00e4chsten Vormittag besuchten wir die Batu H\u00f6hlen rund 15 Kilometer n\u00f6rdlich der malaysischen Hauptstadt. Ein besonderes Highlight hier ist die 42,7 Meter hohe goldfarbene Statue auf dem Vorplatz. Die H\u00f6hle bzw. die angrenzenden Bereiche beherbergen mehrere Hindu Tempel.
