Seattle Premium Outlets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nous avons pass\u00e9 la matin\u00e9e \u00e0 faire du shopping aux Seattle Premium Outlets. Ils se trouvent \u00e0 Tulalip, \u00e0 environ une heure au nord de Seattle en voiture par l'Interstate 5. Si, comme nous, vous pr\u00e9voyez d'acheter beaucoup de choses dans un seul magasin, n'h\u00e9sitez pas \u00e0 prendre un carnet de coupons au point d'information. Il co\u00fbte normalement 5 $, ou vous devez prouver que vous \u00eates membre du club VIP des Premium Outlets. Nous avions un compte, mais malheureusement, nous n'avions pas de Wi-Fi pour le prouver. Nous avons toutefois r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 convaincre la dame au point d'information jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'elle c\u00e8de et nous donne simplement un carnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s quatre heures de shopping, il nous fallait reprendre des forces avant de rentrer \u00e0 Seattle. De l'autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l'autoroute, nous avons trouv\u00e9 un Carl's Jr. Un autre de nos fast-foods pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s\u00a0: un hamburger original \u00e0 six dollars, c'est un vrai r\u00e9gal\u00a0!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur le chemin du retour vers Seattle, nous ne pouvions pas passer par les usines Boeing d'Everett et de Mukilteo. Nous avons commenc\u00e9 notre visite de l'a\u00e9roport de Paine Field par les halls de peinture et d'assemblage. Les immenses portes du hall d'assemblage arborent d\u00e9sormais un 747\u00a0; lors de ma derni\u00e8re visite, c'\u00e9tait encore le 787 qui ornait la fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nous nous sommes arr\u00eat\u00e9s \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents endroits le long de notre route autour de l'a\u00e9roport et de l'usine. Certains endroits offrent de jolies collines d'o\u00f9 l'on peut prendre de superbes photos des avions sans aucune barri\u00e8re pour g\u00eaner la vue. Et s'il n'y a pas de colline, on peut tout simplement monter sur la voiture. Comme on dit\u00a0: \u201e N\u2019y allez pas doucement, c\u2019est une location. \u201c<\/em>.Plusieurs mod\u00e8les d'avions 777, 747 et 787 \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sents sur le site. L'appareil le plus d\u00e9labr\u00e9 \u00e9tait un Dreamliner partiellement d\u00e9mont\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9cluses Hiram M. Chittenden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour terminer la journ\u00e9e, nous sommes all\u00e9s en voiture aux \u00e9cluses Hiram M. Chittenden. Construites en 1911, ces \u00e9cluses, \u00e9galement connues sous le nom d'\u00e9cluses de Ballard, permettent aux navires de passer des eaux sal\u00e9es du Puget Sound aux eaux douces du canal, qui se jette \u00e0 l'est dans les lacs Union et Washington. Le passage \u00e0 poissons a \u00e9t\u00e9 un moment particuli\u00e8rement marquant pour nous. \u00c0 travers des panneaux de verre sous la ligne de flottaison, nous pouvions observer les saumons faire des allers-retours entre l'eau sal\u00e9e et l'eau douce. Le parc adjacent est \u00e9galement magnifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seattle Premium Outlets Den Vormittag verbrachten wir mit Shopping in den Seattle Premium Outlets. Diese befinden sich in Tulalip, mit dem Auto ungef\u00e4hr eine Stunde n\u00f6rdlich von Seattle \u00fcber die Interstate 5. Sollte man, so wie wir, in einem Shop gr\u00f6\u00dfere Mengen kaufen wollen, sollte man sich unbedingt an der Information das Coupon Heft besorgen.
