L'archipel des Mille-\u00celes compte combien d'\u00eeles\u00a0? Les Mille-\u00celes ne sont pas un simple d\u00e9cor de carte postale\u00a0; elles sont situ\u00e9es \u00e0 l'embouchure du lac Ontario, dans la r\u00e9gion frontali\u00e8re entre le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s notre visite \u00e0 Diefenbunkers<\/a> Nous avons roul\u00e9 vers le sud et travers\u00e9 les Mille-\u00celes, un archipel d\u00e9limit\u00e9 par le fleuve Saint-Laurent. Nous avons emprunt\u00e9 le pont des Mille-\u00celes (p\u00e9age\u00a0: 2,75\u00a0$) pour rejoindre l\u2019\u00eele Hill, o\u00f9 se dresse la tour Skydeck. Cette tour d\u2019observation, construite en 1965, est un peu vieillotte, mais cela importe peu face \u00e0 la vue imprenable. De l\u00e0-haut, on comprend l\u2019origine du nom de la r\u00e9gion, avec ses nombreuses \u00eeles, petites et grandes, m\u00eame si on n\u2019en compte officiellement que 997. C\u2019est seulement d\u2019en haut qu\u2019on peut vraiment appr\u00e9cier toute sa beaut\u00e9\u00a0! De nombreuses \u00eeles abritent d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gantes villas, dont certaines ne sont accessibles que par bateau. Absolument fantastique\u00a0!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
