Our night ended early; jet lag had caught up with us a bit. The first thing we did was turn on the TV and check what the weather in Vancouver would bring... hmm... rain. Oh, it won't be that bad. We quickly ate something and then went to the lobby to rent bikes and explore Vancouver's sights in the rain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vancouver \u2013 Canada Place<\/h2>\n

We then cycled through the city on well-developed bike paths. This was unusual for a big city, but absolutely fantastic. The weather was actually quite good at first, but shortly before we reached Canada Place, our first sight, it started to rain. A large cruise ship was anchored at Canada Place, which we were able to get a good look at up close. From here we also had a good view of the seaplanes taking off and landing. Despite the bad weather, there was a lot of air traffic. What really surprised us was that there were no accidents involving the boats and ships in the bay. Then we noticed something funny: a gas station on the water that looked like a car gas station, even though it was for boats or airplanes.<\/p>\n
