CIP Lounge Istanbul<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When we arrived at the CIP Lounge, we first tried to book a shower appointment. We recommend using the showers on the lower level. They are newer and the wait was shorter. You have to check in with the concierge and are shown to the bathroom when your name is called. The entire room is lined with white marble and is a good size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a leisurely breakfast with croissants, fried eggs, and delicious cakes and pastries, we lingered over a tasty Turkish coffee. We especially loved the little honeycomb above the cold buffet, where we could scrape out fresh honey.<\/p>\n\n\n

Since it was a bit quieter in the lounge today compared to the outbound flight, we took the opportunity to play on the Carrera racetrack. The cars are available from the concierge upon presentation of your flight ticket (as a deposit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the best time in the lounge eventually comes to an end, and we dragged ourselves, feeling quite stuffed, to the departure gate for our flight to Leipzig. We arrived just in time for boarding to begin. When our tickets were scanned, there was a short beep, and our tickets were exchanged once again. Our lucky streak continued, and we were upgraded again on this short flight, this time to Business Class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We received a warm welcome on board the A320 and were served a fresh lemonade as a welcome drink. The flight was very smooth, and the menus were distributed shortly after takeoff. We could choose from several appetizers and main courses. Everything was very tasty.<\/p>\n\n\n
