    The Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is located somewhat off the beaten track of regular terminal operations, offering a particularly exclusive travel experience. To get there, passengers arriving from an international flight must first briefly "enter" Germany. Alternatively, they can also drive directly to the terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Since we wanted to stretch our legs a bit before our long-haul flight and of course our First Class Experience<\/a> wanted to fully enjoy the view, we set off from the Lufthansa First Class Lounge<\/a> to the Lufthansa First Class Terminal. From Exit A1 on the arrivals level, it's just a few steps to the terminal. The path leads past the taxis directly to an inconspicuous entrance. An elevator takes guests to the upper floor, where the exclusive experience begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We were immediately greeted by our personal attendant in the foyer. After handing over our tickets and passports, she led us directly to the security checkpoint. This was quite different from the typical airport routine: the officers wore suits and exuded an impressively friendly demeanor. Since there were no other passengers present, the check was pleasantly quick and stress-free \u2013 a taste of what awaited us in the Lufthansa First Class Terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is an exclusive oasis for discerning travelers seeking the highest level of comfort and service. However, not every passenger can enjoy this luxury. Only passengers traveling on the same day with a Lufthansa or SWISS First Class ticket are granted access. The terminal is also available to HON Circle members, the highest status in the Miles & More frequent flyer program \u2013 regardless of the class booked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is the Lufthansa First Class Terminal like?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After the security check, a sliding door opened into the lounge area. The furnishings struck us as very elegant, yet functional. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail. Our personal assistant briefly showed us the key areas of the terminal before disappearing with our tickets, and our passports were sent via pneumatic tube one floor below to the Federal Border Guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the central area of the terminal, we discovered several seating areas with comfortable armchairs and sofas. Small snacks like nuts and dried fruit were on the tables. Along the floor-to-ceiling windows, we particularly liked individual recliners with ottomans\u2014perfect for putting our feet up and relaxing. Unfortunately, the view wasn't very spectacular: you either saw the taxi stand or the back of Terminal 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Since the main area was very busy, we retreated to the workstations in the back. It was quieter there, and the enclosed cubicles offered pleasant privacy, ideal for phone calls or relaxing work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Another plus point was the shower area, which we had reserved through our personal assistant. The service was quick, and the shower itself was spacious and high-quality. There are also lounges with beds and bathrooms with bathtubs. We learned that the terminal will soon be 10 years old and is being renovated. To celebrate the anniversary, we received a construction worker rubber duck as a souvenir \u2013 a nice idea. Our assistant later surprised us with a particularly heartfelt gesture: Having learned that we were on our honeymoon, she brought us a small gift \u2013 a rose and a rubber ducky in a wedding dress. This personal touch made our stay unforgettable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For smokers, there's a stylish cigar lounge, which impressed us with its high-quality furnishings. In addition to comfortable armchairs and sofas, there's a humidor with complimentary cigars and a small self-service bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is available to eat and drink in the Lufthansa First Class Terminal?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    From a culinary perspective, the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is a true highlight, offering an impressive selection of food and drinks that leaves nothing to be desired. Right from the start, we were struck by the selection of specialty drinks. We were particularly impressed by the variety of colas. We tried a Cola Rebell from Hamburg, which, with its lemon flavor and light color, was surprisingly atypical\u2014a refreshing change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For lunch, we headed to the restaurant area, which immediately impressed us with its atmosphere. This area is more reminiscent of an upscale restaurant than an airport lounge. Guests can choose between a buffet with cold and hot dishes and an \u00e0 la carte menu. In addition to regularly changing seasonal specials, the menu also includes classics like Wiener Schnitzel and steak. We opted for a juicy medium-rare beef medallion with arugula and Parmesan cheese. The meat was perfectly prepared\u2014incredibly tender and flavorful. This was accompanied by a dry Spanish red wine from 2005, which an attentive waiter recommended to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The bar is another highlight in the Lufthansa First Class Terminal. It's located right in the entrance area and offers a huge selection of drinks. From champagne and wine to several hundred spirits, the selection is impressive and easily rivals that of a luxury hotel bar. We were particularly impressed by the variety of non-alcoholic beverages. The water menu lists more than a dozen different mineral waters, and the bartenders can also mix delicious cocktails upon request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
