The Hugo Junkers Lounge D\u00fcsseldorf is the only lounge in Terminal B of D\u00fcsseldorf Airport. Since my flight with Aegean Airlines to Athens was also scheduled to depart from this terminal, I decided to visit the Hugo Junkers Lounge.     Where is the Hugo Junkers Lounge D\u00fcsseldorf?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Hugo Junkers Lounge at D\u00fcsseldorf Airport is one of five lounges. It is the only lounge in Concourse B. The other lounges are located in Area A (Lufthansa Business and Senator Lounge) and Area C (Emirates and Open Sky Lounge). The Hugo Junkers Lounge is located directly behind the security checkpoint on Level 2 of the terminal, accessible via stairs or elevator after the security checkpoint. The lounge is open daily from 5:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who has access to the Hugo Junkers Lounge D\u00fcsseldorf?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Hugo Junkers Lounge is open to anyone with a valid flight ticket for the same day. However, there is a fee for admission. The regular price is \u20ac27.50 for adults (this price applies to those aged 13 and over; children aged 0 to 2 are admitted free) and \u20ac11 for children aged 3 to 12. Tickets can also be purchased in advance at the official website<\/a> As the owner of a American Express Platinum Credit Card<\/a>* With the associated Priority Pass I was allowed to use the lounge for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is the Hugo Junkers Lounge D\u00fcsseldorf equipped with?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    With 800 square meters of floor space, the Hugo Junkers Lounge is a comfortable size. Depending on the time of day, it can still get quite crowded. Once through the entrance door, you approach the large reception desk. Here, you'll be asked for your access authorization or the admission price, as well as your current flight ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The lounge is modern and decorated in brown and burgundy. Beyond the reception, there are two slightly separated areas to the left and right, ideal for working on laptops, for example. There are also armchairs with low tables at the glass front, chairs with higher tables, and standing tables with stools or benches. Most chairs and accompanying tables don't have power or USB ports, so charging smartphones and laptops can be a bit tricky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It wasn't until the end of my visit that I noticed a staircase in the entrance area leading to the upper floor. Once at the top, I found a second area of the lounge. Since the lower floor had already been quite full during my stay, it was almost empty up here. There were various seating areas separated by fabric and, in some cases, wooden elements. There were also many more workstations with power outlets and USB ports here than on the ground floor. There was also a small play area for children at the rear of the lounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is there to eat and drink at the Hugo Junkers Lounge D\u00fcsseldorf?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The lounge's food and beverage options are located in the back left corner. Breakfast was still being served during my stay. The buffet consisted of various hot dishes, such as scrambled eggs and sausages, as well as cold dishes. There were cold cuts, pastries, yogurt, bread, fruit, and cereal. A small selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages was available. A coffee machine for hot drinks was also freely available. The service staff was friendly and very concerned about cleanliness and order. The buffet was also regularly checked and refilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
