    Where is the La Valette Club Lounge Malta located?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Immediately after checking in at the Lufthansa First Class counter, we received an invitation card for the lounge. With the invitation and our hand luggage, we then went through security, where there is also a fast lane for status passengers. Immediately after the checkpoint is the large duty-free area. Once we had passed through this area, the entrance and lift to the La Valette Club Lounge Malta was on the left-hand side after the checkout area of the duty-free area. The lounge itself is located on the third floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who has access to the La Valette Club Lounge Malta?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You get access to the La Valette Club Lounge if you are leaving Malta as a Business Class passenger, if you have a higher frequent flyer status, e.g. Star Alliance Gold, with an airline or if you have a Priority Pass. It is also possible to purchase access for 35 EUR\/adult. You can find more information on the current admission prices on the official Website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How is the La Valette Club Lounge Malta equipped?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After leaving the lift on the third floor, we followed the dark wood-panelled corridor to reception. Here we handed in our invitation cards and were warmly welcomed into the lounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The lounge was pleasantly empty during our short stay. There were various seating areas. Most of the seats were located by the large window front with a view of the apron. Here there were seating groups with dark leather sofas and light-coloured upholstered chairs. In the centre of the lounge there was additional seating on two curved benches. There were also plenty of sockets installed here. Right next to the reception desk was a work area with several Apple iMacs and two rows of swivel chairs. There were also several recliners available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our personal highlight of the La Valette Club Lounge at Malta Airport was the covered outdoor terrace. There was also plenty of seating with tables and chairs. We also had a very nice view of the apron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Other amenities in the lounge include free Wi-Fi, departure announcements, newspapers and magazines. A separate room with more privacy is available for visitors with \"High Attitude\" membership, a paid VIP programme at Malta Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is there to eat and drink in the La Valette Club Lounge Malta?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    For a contract lounge, the food on offer in the La Valette Club Lounge Malta was surprisingly good. There was a choice of four hot meals during our stay in the late afternoon. These included chicken satay skewers and pies, wraps with bean curd. There was also a selection of vegetables, local cold meats and cheeses and various baked goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The selection of drinks was also good. The fridges were stocked with various soft drinks, beer and water in small plastic bottles. The range of spirits was also very good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
