Thanks to our Star Alliance Gold status, we were able to visit the LOT Polish Airlines Elite Club Lounge during our layover at Warsaw Airport.     Where is the LOT Polish Airlines Elite Club Lounge in Warsaw?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After our arrival by plane LO<\/span>We were picked up on the apron of Warsaw Airport by minibus on flight 388 from Berlin-Tegel. LOT offers this private transfer to every Premium passenger. Economy<\/span> and Business Class<\/span> After being dropped off at the terminal building, we followed the signs to the LOT Business Lounge. It's located on the third floor, in the direction of the N gates. The entrance is quite narrow due to the security checkpoint for transfer passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who has access to the LOT Polish Airlines Elite Club Lounge in Warsaw?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    At the LOT Business Lounge reception desk, we first had to show our boarding passes and frequent flyer cards. After being granted entry, we walked to the rear of the well-attended lounge. The entrance to the LOT Elite Club Lounge was somewhat hidden on the right side, in the bistro area. Star Alliance Gold passengers shouldn't be put off by the words "HON Circle" on the doormat. Access to the lounge is granted to every passenger with Star Alliance Gold frequent flyer status. Eligible passengers are also allowed to bring one guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What are the amenities of the LOT Polish Airlines Elite Club Lounge in Warsaw?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Behind the sliding glass door was another reception desk where we repeatedly had to prove our Star Alliance Gold membership. To the left of this was the large buffet area. There was also a seating area with brown leather armchairs. Between each armchair was a small shelf. Power outlets were only available on the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Somewhat hidden in the back of the lounge was a relaxation area with four very comfortable armchairs and ottomans. There were also power outlets and additional reading lamps on the wall. We spent our waiting time for our flight to Chicago relaxing there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Unfortunately, the lounge didn't offer its own Wi-Fi, so we had to use the airport-wide "Chopin Premium VIP" network during our stay. This was regrettably a bit slow at times. Another drawback was the complete lack of windows with direct natural light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What food and drinks are available in the LOT Polish Airlines Elite Club Lounge in Warsaw?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To assess the food and drink offerings, it's really enough to mention the caterer's name: Do&Co. The name is generally synonymous with top-notch quality, and this was certainly true during our stay. The hot dishes alone offered a selection including roast pork tenderloin with a semi-glazed sauce and whole-grain mustard, pan-fried hoki fish with Szechuan sauce, stir-fried Chinese noodles with vegetables and oyster mushrooms, and gnocchi with peas, among other options. In addition to the hot buffet, there was also a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, fish canap\u00e9s, and a wide selection of desserts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Just like the food selection, the drinks menu was excellent. A large, double-doored refrigerator stocked various soft drinks and beers. There was also a generous selection of spirits, wine, and even a champagne from Nicolas Feuillatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
