Before our departure to Dubai, we visited the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt. Alongside the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, this is the only Star Alliance Gold Lounge in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1B.     Where is the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt located?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The lounge is located in the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1. Immediately after passport control, we turned left and walked towards gates B41-48. The entrance to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge was on the left, next to gate B43. After passing through security, we took the elevator up one level and were standing directly in front of the automatically opening entrance door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who has access to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    All passengers with Lufthansa Senator or comparable Star Alliance Gold frequent flyer status have access to the lounge. Additionally, guests with a valid Star Alliance First Class ticket departing from Frankfurt also have lounge access. Eligible passengers may also bring one guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What are the amenities of the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Immediately upon our arrival in the lounge, we noticed a light-up lettering structure. This separated the different seating areas. Along the window front at the rear of the lounge were several seating groups, each with a small table and two power outlets. There were also a few Relaxing loungers<\/span> were located here and offered a great view of the apron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Besides several tables with two or three chairs each, there were also three bar tables with matching high chairs near the buffet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What was particularly special about the Lufthansa Senator Lounge at B-Gates in Frankfurt was the spa area. Here, paying passengers were offered a variety of treatments and massages. In addition to the expensive spa area, there were also several private shower rooms. Furthermore, there was a darkened relaxation room at the rear of the lounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What food and drinks are available in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge B-Gates Frankfurt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    A particular highlight of the Lufthansa Senator Lounge Terminal 1B was the bar. Here, various spirits and freshly prepared coffee specialties were offered. There was also a small menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. To get in the mood for our upcoming vacation, I had the bartender make me a delicious Mojito<\/span> mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The actual buffet offered a selection of snacks, two hot dishes, cold and hot appetizers and desserts \u2013 not as extensive and high-quality as in the neighboring Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge<\/a>. The extensive beverage selection included soft drinks, German beer, wines, sparkling wine and a selection of liqueurs and spirits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
