We often spend our waiting time in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge A-Gates Frankfurt. The lounge is very busy, especially during the week, so we have never managed to take photos for a review until now. When we returned from Barcelona on a Saturday evening, we were almost the only guests, so I took the opportunity to have a closer look around.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Where is the Lufthansa Senator Lounge A-Gates Frankfurt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Lufthansa Senator Lounge Frankfurt in Departures Area A is just one of many lounges at Frankfurt Airport. Due to its central location in Terminal 1A, close to the Duty Free shop and Gate A50 (Schengen Area), it is probably the busiest lounge at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who has access to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge A-Gates Frankfurt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Access to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge A-Gates at Frankfurt Airport is granted to Star Alliance Gold members, Senators, or First Class passengers of a Star Alliance airline. In both cases, you may invite one guest to the lounge, provided they have a valid Star Alliance boarding pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is the Lufthansa Senator Lounge A-Gates Frankfurt equipped with?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After the entrance check and the service counter, we first passed through the buffet area. Then we entered the large seating area of the Senator Lounge. The front area consists of numerous tables and chairs. On the right side are telephone booths, a magazine rack, and a separate work area with several desks, two PCs, and a printer. There is also a darkened relaxation area, the entrance to which is to the left of the magazine rack, and a smoking room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The rest of the lounge features Lufthansa's signature light and dark brown leather armchairs, high tables with bar stools, and several loungers with "Forest View" wallpaper. We were also able to use one of the two available high chairs for our young son. Various glass elements separate the seating areas. Between each armchair, there's always a shelf with a lamp and two power outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The large windows offer a great view of the apron. Unfortunately, the view is severely obstructed by frosted glass strips. The Lufthansa Senator Lounge in Frankfurt also features several shower cubicles, located along with the other restrooms just behind the reception desk in the entrance area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is available to eat and drink in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge A-Gates Frankfurt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The large buffet area is spread across several counters. The menu usually consists of two hot dishes and a soup. During our stay, a chicken strip with spaetzle and a wiener was offered. There is also a small selection of salads, sausage and cheese, bread and rolls, and various desserts and cakes. For a little individuality, the staff prepares fresh wraps (cheese, chicken, or tuna).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The drinks selection is extensive. As in most larger Senator Lounges, sodas come from the tap, while mineral water, tonic, and ginger ale are available in bottles. There are also several white and red wines, as well as sparkling wine, beer (including non-alcoholic), and various spirits. You can get a coffee or tea from the fully automatic vending machine both in the buffet area and at the window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
