Air Canada's Maple Leaf Lounge network includes over 20 lounges worldwide. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is home to three of these, one serving the domestic gates, one serving the cross-border (i.e., flights to the US), and one serving the international gates. We visited the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto International in January 2017, before flying with Air Canada to London.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Where is the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto International?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After our arrival with Air Canada from Seattle<\/a> Before our onward flight to London, we had to go through passport control and subsequent security checks. The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto was impossible to miss, as it was located right at the end of the aisle. As a departing passenger from Toronto, the lounge is on the second floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who has access to the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto International?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Access is available to passengers traveling in Star Alliance Business Class or First Class, Star Alliance Gold members, and holders of selected credit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto International equipped with?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The lounge's common area consisted of two slightly offset levels. On the lower level, directly after the reception desk, there was a large dining area with a buffet and plenty of tables and chairs. Various seating areas were available on the second level. These were separated by islands equipped with either a bar or several TVs. In the rear of the lounge, there was also a relaxation area, a separate meeting room, and two showers. Since the Maple Leaf Lounge is built in the middle of Terminal 1, an unobstructed view of the apron was unfortunately not possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There were only two outlets for our electrical devices in each seating area. These were positioned centrally between the facing armchairs, so your power cords would need to be a bit longer. However, the high-top tables at the drinks buffet also had several outlets and even USB ports. Other amenities in the lounge included a business center with computer workstations and free, sufficiently fast Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What is available to eat and drink in the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto International?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The offer differed from the Transborder Lounge<\/a> only by a selection of hot dishes. During our stay, there were two different ravioli, a paella, and mashed potatoes. A small selection of salads and dressings was also offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The drinks selection was very good. There were several spirits, white and red wines, and four different beers (only the Canadian is drinkable, in my opinion). A highlight was a margarita mix station. Soft drinks were available from a vending machine or in cans from the refrigerator. A WMF fully automatic coffee machine was also available for caffeine needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
